Each class will have a chakra based theme. Come get your yin on, one long-holding asana at a time. This practice is wonderful for grounding and centering you and releasing deep-held physical, emotional, and mental tension.
Yin yoga releases tension at the connective tissue level and has been proven to release emotional tension and mental stress.
This practice is practiced like meditation. Poses are held from 2 to 7 minutes in complete stillness. A practitioner receives the full benefits of the practice 36 hours later.
